THE GURU AND THE SEEKER

Pondering on my journey, I've explored the relationship between the guru and the seeker.
It appears the case, that human suffering, predominately the search for happiness that began when the feeling of unhappiness arose within the soul, leads to the search for a guru to solve the perceived problem.
The journey, and work, begins for the seeker and guru, only that the guru simply reveals that there is nothing to DO other than be here now fully as you, the self, and to realise a state of being awareness with the omnipresence of existence.
The gurus silence is the teacher, and they simply point the seeker to this. To dissolve the sense of seperation and realisation you are the ocean not a drop in it.
The work continues for the seeker, as the mind holds on fearing to let go to the silence and peace of being here now, fully present and resting in awareness, as awareness, as self. A state of effortlessness that requires total surrender to the NOW.
The simplicity of the truth of realisation is met with fierce opposition of logic and reason. The work becomes a mental discipline and habit that draws attention to a problem solving process that feeds in a looping pattern.
However if the truth is realised about the moment, then it dawns that the problem is an illusion that's kept the seeker searching and doing the spiritual work. We have been stuck in a mental trap as the result of a belief that something requires solving, fixing , or changing.
The realisation comes, that to truly be present, here, now requires doing absolutely nothing and surrender the work and all efforts to fix or change yourself.
The decision is required to simply surrender all efforts in absolute surrender to allowing what arises to arise in awareness, in a state of non-reactivity..
However the purity of this silence requires nothing of you except, resting in it.
Then the work, that was never required anyway, due to it always being a myth in the mind is done.
Then in the silence, the divine begins to reveal itself, you have arrived into a state of receiving effortlessly what it's intention is for your existence.
The guru and the illusory search must cease, and the seer emerges after the circular journey is completed back to home where the treasure was always present.
A kind of cosmic joke...the gold was never in a far off mystical temple where the guru was met , you'd been sitting on it at home, you as self are your own guru.
God is in you, as you, I AM THAT I AM...and the feeling of seperation and loneliness dissolves into a sense of felt oneness with all of existence.
The alchemist story depicts this quest for the treasure, jesus pointed that the kingdom of heaven is within you.
The suffering dissolves in that moment mentally, and although the body will eventually die the seer now knows that all experience is arriving to them, but they are not the experience, or suffering... this is the freedom the guru points us to ...samadhi, liberation, enlightenment.
Namaste❤
